Dr. Stelios Andreadakis
Stelios is a Senior Lecturer in Corporate and Financial Law and Director of Postgraduate Programmes at Brunel Law School. Prior to joining Brunel, he was a Lecturer and LLM Director at the University of Leicester and a Senior Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University. He holds a PhD and an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Leicester and an undergraduate Law degree from the Law School of the University of Athens, Greece. His PhD Thesis was dealing with corporate scandals in the United States and Europe and the most efficient regulatory response to the series of collapses that took place at the end of 1990s and the dawn of the new millennium. Stelios’ research interests are in the areas of Corporate Law and EU Law and he has presented parts of his research in several conferences in the UK and internationally. He is particularly interested in corporate governance, exploring aspects of regulation of companies, corporate theories, the operation of financial markets and the role of scandals in the introduction of new legislation. His current work focuses on the role of whistleblowers in modern corporate governance and he is conducting empirical research in the US, Japan and Europe. A monograph will be published by Edward Elgar with the findings of the research project and his recommendations as to the role of corporate culture in the strengthening of whistleblower protection worldwide. Dr Andreadakis has been consulting companies on corporate governance and compliance issues, while he holds executive positions in a number of UK companies.
Dr. Chryssoula Tsene
Chryssoula is an Assistant Professor in Business Law at the University of Patras, Greece (Department of Business Administration) and a adjunct professor at Hellenic Open University. Member of Athens Bar Association. Μοreover , she is Member of the Association of Greek Commercialists, Member of the Association of Civil Law and Member of the Company of Commercial and Financial Law Studies. She has published in a number of scientific journals in the field of corporate and business law. Her research interests include corporate governance, corporate law, financial regulation and international business law.
Panos Alivizatos
Panos is a Corporate Finance, Strategy & Management executive with over 20 years of international experience spanning from M&A (origination, execution, integration), Project/Structured/Asset Finance, PE/VC & Greenfield Investments to Partnerships, PPP, and Strategic Planning. He has worked for leading investment banks, sovereign wealth funds, state-owned and government organizations, corporate finance boutique firms, multinational companies, financial institutions, and start-ups.
A generalist in principle, Panos has transactional experience throughout a variety of different funding structures combined with hands-on operational know-how, in the verticals of Payments/FinTech, Renewable Energy, Circular Economy, Financial Services, Natural Resources, and Real Assets. He is also experienced in dealing with regulators, authorities, central banks, multinational organizations, institutional investors and boards.
Panos has managed and participated in more than 50 transactions exceeding US$ 2bn in value and he has lived and worked in Europe, the Middle East & North America.
He is program leader and subject matter expert lecturer for Columbia Business School’s ESG Investing course, which is offered online by EMERITUS management institute educational platform.
He is member of the Responsible Investments Association of Canada.
He is London Business School alumnus, he holds an MSc in Finance, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration as well as certificates in Corporate Finance, Law & Economics, Islamic Banking & Finance and in Design Thinking & Innovation.
